PVP Kart The kart was built last year with a hardly used 2006 chassis
and a new PVP 251 engine. Every part on the kart is new, with the only
exception being the side radiator and seat [new one did not fit].
The engine is the latest spec PVP with a water-cooled gearbox. The engine
is standard and has done 1 hours work from new.
The kart uses an Anderson carbon fibre wing.
The kart cost R170k to build and the replacement cost for the engine is
about R140k.
The kart is immaculate, quick and very nice to drive. The kart is sold
with spare rims, gearing, jetting and engine tools.

Good
set-up for someone starting out in superkarts. Singles (compared to
two 125cc engines in tandem) are easier to learn to drive, because the
engine is less peaky and runs lower rpm’s (8 000 to 10 000). However,
they have less power than twins and this is partially compensated for
by running a lower minimum weight limit (195 kg including driver).
