A happier bunch you will never get...125cc Superkarts from Cape Town and 250cc Superkarters from Gauteng. Pushing out for the start of heat 1. sitting in the sun was quite enjoyable. Mark Conyers N0 9. Mark got a 2nd in the 1st heat was coming 3rd in the second heat when he got a front left flat...funny how every 'away race' envolves tyres of some sorts! on our trip from Cape Town we encoutered many "Dodgy characters"...could this be one of them?

Warren fraser heading up the 125 class into turn 2 Class B competitors tusseling for line honours. John Amm 50 finished 2nd in class B, Harry Reid 77 finished 1st overall for the day, Skalk burger jnr 64 finished 3rd in class B and Skalk Burger 13...somewhere in class A... "HEY TONY....WHICH WAY DO WE GO?"

Johan Roberts in class A kart no 20 launching its "payload" through turn 2. Johan went on to finnish 3rd in class A. A hungry pack of 125 karts in hot persuit of the 250 guys! A PVP SANDWITCH!
Warren Fraser No 8. 1st in heat one, second in heat two. Overall winner of the day with 28 points. 12 karts, 1 truck, and a whole lot of fun! 125 competitor, Harry Reid, marvels the new PVP rig! All lined up behind the 250 superkart ace, Ivor.....but not for long...
The 125 guys seize the coppertunity to "alter" the 250 superkart banner of Friday night before the race. 'pretty kart' Springhall going down the straight "full taps"! Close close racing the whole weekend. A post race "chat" with the COC.
Class B winners. John Amm, Harry Reid and Skalk Burger jnr. Class A winners FLTR Rihard Wiles, Warren Fraser, Johan Roberts Oh look!!!! Another 3 "dodgy characters"!...looks like Gauteng is full of them! Richard Wiles No 7. 3rd in 1st heat. 2nd in second heat. Fastest lap of the day at 1:10.615. 2nd overall in class A.
Great company, great food, GREAT DOP, great accomodation in the old control tower!
